    Mask Monday vol. 1

    Hi everyone!

As you know i’m all about self-improvement and looking and feeling your best. One way i’ve been improving my skin is face mask. I decided to to put #maskmonday to use and share with you all what mask I am applying. I will do this every Monday so these mask Monday post with contain 4 mask and there will be a different volume of mask Monday each month! Hopefully that makes sense, here are the mask i’ve been applying for the month of April.

*If you don’t want to wait until the end of the month to see my mask picks make sure you follow me on Instagram where I post #maskmonday every Monday on my Instastory.

    Week 1:
SHISEIDO Ibuki Beauty Sleeping Mask, not one of my favorites. I bought this mask after watching Rosita on Youtube. I couldn’t wait to use it but my skin did not like it at all. This mask has a heavy perfume scent which irritated my nose while sleeping and I ended having a brake out. Not sure if my skin did not like it because of the perfume or the ingredients, but i’m pretty sad this mask did not work out for me.

    Week 2:
Green tea mask, I love using homemade mask. Before I could afford to buy mask I use to always find things in the kitchen and bathroom that I could apply on my face. I haven’t used a homemade mask in awhile, but i’m falling back in love with them. I found this mask on tazangelsbeautybar I never thought of using tea in a mask so I decided to give it a try. The mask only has 2 ingredients organic green tea bags and honey. I personally use however much is necessary of each to get the right consistency. I left this mask on for about 15 minutes. Some of benefits of this mask include: reduce in redness, aids in the prevention of blackheads and the green tea has a ton of antioxidants which help with wrinkles, sun damage and keeping the skin firm.

    Week 3:
Sephora Pearl Sheet Mask, this is one of my favorite sheet mask. According to the Sephora site this mask, “Perfects and brightens with natural-origin pearl to create high luminosity and visibly minimize irregularities.” I noticed an immediate difference in my skin after using this mask. My skin looked plump, dewy and so hydrated. I literally looked like I had drunk a whole gallon of water. I personally like to do this mask before makeup to prep my skin.

    Week 4:
Freeman Brightening Seaweed & Pearl Sheet mask, one word sticky. Usually my skins feels really plump and smooth, but after using this mask my face and neck were sticky and pretty uncomfortable so I had to wash off the product.
